Adjusting to Your New Beginning

ree

You have to get comfortable in the new body you have. You have to get comfortable in the new mindset you have. You have to get comfortable in the new identity you have. This is for everyone who has ever leveled up and didn’t feel so comfortable in the new space they have endured to get to. It can be so easy to slip back into old habits; not due to a desire but because the newness is so new you don’t know what to do.

Here are a few tips to remain anchored in your new beginning:

Maintain what got you in the new space. The last thing a person should do after gaining a state of victory in their health is going back to doing what created the dis – ease in the first place. Maintaining your healthy habits in all areas assists in remaining strong. Continue to employ those same skills once you arrive.

Apply a new mindset. Mountain air is very different than that of the valley. Your perspective, the way you walk and talk and do life has to adjust. Diligently applying your new mindset is so major. Things will never be as they were...and that’s a good thing. Intentionally setting your gaze on the horizon creates space for you to learn the necessary skills needed. You have to consistently think differently.

Welcome in the new. Subconsciously we may find ourselves fighting against the newness because it’s a space we’ve never lived in before. It is key to welcome in a new way of dreaming, believing, and being. Accepting a new way of life opens the door for all that is well to come in. The more you welcome in peace, joy, and abundance the more at home you will be.

Celebrate your wins by allowing yourself to actually experience them. This is your moment. The moment you have waited (cried, prayed, and been prepared) for. Take a deep breath and keep living forward. You’re just getting started.

Things are most comfortable when routine is in movement and this is true. It is when the challenge arises to step into unknown territory of deep desires. The action steps of changing your perception has blessed me beyond measure. Thank you for the reminder!
